Sadly, I had one went home had supper with 1 G&T and that's it. This is proper ill.

May I suggest that the reason you are ill is you have not been in your usual hiding place (The Sports & Social), but in a secret new location of an evening.
The Sports has long been known to have special healing qualities - particularly for those with ailments of the lung and/or liver.
Perhaps if you returned, your recouperation would be accelerated.

In that case you have had a rare glimpse, as many have been asking about the whereabouts of M'Lud recently due to a lower than low profile of late (except when arrows is in the offing clearly)
Certainly, most definitely was in the Sports and Social! And revelling in hammering me and my darts partner (who happens to be very good) at erm...darts. BOLLOCKS!
Seems like those beers were going like quite a treat!
